Enzo is a turbo-charged riff on an Americano. It takes the basics of Americano and blends it with a bitter shot called “Ferrari”, the end result is aptly named in the honour of the great Enzo Ferrari.

Cocktail is split base between Campari and Fernet-Branca. Two bold bitter Italian amari. Campari brings notes of orange, grapefruit and quinine. Fernet-Branca further expands the bitter gamma with addition of herbaceousness as well as hints of menthol and eucalyptus. Sweet vermouth then softens the blow with subtle sweet flavours of dried fruit, caramel and spices. Soda water then lengthens the drink allowing individual notes to reveal themselves to full extent, while also providing refreshening effervescence. Last, but not least an orange garnish complements the drink with delicious citrus aroma.

All in all, Enzo is a bold and complex cocktail, great as a summer refreshment, although its bitter-sweet-profile makes it just as good for the cold time of the year.
