COCKTAIL INGREDIENTS:
- 45 ml Blanco Tequila
- 22,5 ml Fresh Lime Juice
- 15 ml Maraschino Liqueur
- 22,5 ml Egg Whites

GARNISH:
- Lime Wheel
- Cherry
- Small Sprig of Mint

INSTRUCTIONS:
• Combine all of the ingredients in a cocktail shaker.
• Dry shake to emulsify the egg whites.
• Add ice and shake until chilled.
• Double strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
• Garnish with a lime wheel, skewered cherry and a small sprig of mint.

When considering egg white drinks, tequila as a base spirit comes up much less often than other spirits like whiskey or gin. Prado fills this void perfectly. Combining rich texture and agave notes to create a delicious tequila sour.

As you probably guessed, the base spirit in this cocktail is tequila, specifically tequila blanco with those prominently expressed vegetal agave notes. Maraschino liqueur acts as a sweetener simultaneously increasing the overall complexity by bringing hints of cherry, nuts and marzipan. Fresh lime juice gives the drink a sharp tart kick, breathing life to the cocktail. Last, but not least, egg white foam contributes a decadent, rich texture for the most enjoyable drinking experience.

Prado is a quite simple, but remarkably delicious tequila sour, especially suitable for tequila lovers looking to try something new.
