Warming weather opens up the possibility for bright and floral cocktails. Quiet Coast comfortably fits this profile by combining gin with cardamom and vanilla, all enveloped by the lightness of Lillet Blanc.

As you probably already guessed the base of this cocktail is citrus forward gin, which alongside the traditional juniper notes carried the rich freshness of orange and lemon. Licor 43 sweetens the drink with subtle tones of vanilla, while fresh lemon juice balances the cocktail with a touch of bright tartness. Lillet Blanc embraces the individual components and supplements the overall flavour profile with floral, fruity flavours as well as gentle wine acidity. Cardamom bitters season the drink with herbal almost menthol like quality, while saline solution brings the individual ingredient notes right to the forefront.

All in all, Quiet Coast is a bright, light, yet remarkably complex floral cocktail, perfectly suited for spring and summer evenings and garden parties.
