Carciofi Shandy
COCKTAIL INGREDIENTS:
- 45 ml Cynar
- 30 ml Apple Cider
- 22,5 ml Fresh Lemon Juice
- 15 ml Cinnamon Syrup
- Ginger Beer (Chilled)
GARNISH:
- Apple Fan
INSTRUCTIONS:
• Combine all of the ingredients except ginger beer in a cocktail shaker.
• Add ice and shake until chilled.
• Strain into a cocktail glass.
• Top with chilled ginger beer.
• Garnish with an apple fan.

Carciofi Shandy is not a typical spring time cocktail, its flavour profile is more tuned to autumn or winter, but being a relatively light in ABV and remarkably delicious makes into a perfect all-year-round drink.
Base of the cocktail is a bold and bitter-sweet amaro, Cynar brings complex earthy, herbal notes as well as a hint of toasted nuts and citrus. Apple juice lengthens the drink, while at the same time pairing well and enriching the flavour of the base spirit. Touch of fresh lemon juice wakes the cocktail up with refreshing and fragrant tartness. Cinnamon syrup further builds on the warming aspects of the drink while also balancing the tartness and bringing subtle addition of tropical spice. Last but not least, chilled ginger beer breathes life into the cocktail with delicious effervescence and spiciness.
All in all, Carciofi Shandy is a wholesome and warming drink, perfectly suited to relax with after and long and hard day.
