Sparkling wine cocktails are a great way to mark a special occasion or a celebration. I’m not a huge champagne or sparkling wine fan, but mix it into a delicious cocktail and something magical is born. The Water Lilly is one of those magical drinks, equally delicious and celebratory.

It is an equal parts cocktail with gin being the only true spirit bringing those familiar and loved juniper, coriander and citrus notes. Crème de Violette brings a distinct sweet floral dimension to the drink instantly changing its direction. Cointreau introduces sweet orange flavour paring and supplementing crème de violette masterfully. A touch of lemon juice, balances things out by offsetting the sweetness and providing a sharp tart kick, while a splash of cava gives a bright lively effervescence with delicate floral and fruity undertones.

The Water Lilly is a tasty, delicate and sophisticated cocktail full of flavour and comforting notes. Perfect choice for your next big occasion deserving a proper celebration.
