Margarita is a cocktail that needs no introduction – a delicious tequila-based drink, that has become inseparable from parties and family gathering for generations. This particular recipe takes Margarita and pairs it with tasty flavours of mango and bitter complexity of coffee for an amazingly refreshing cocktail.
Cocktail starts with an usual equal parts split between vegetal agave notes forward tequila blanco and complex, bold, bitter taste of coffee liqueur, forming familiar, yet slightly unusual cocktail base. Mango syrup brings delicate sweetness and aroma to the mix, pairing surprisingly well with the strong base. A touch of lime juice introduces the balancing and refreshing tartness, which when combined with salt rim, results in a feeling many of use relate to the classic Margarita.
Tropical Coffee Margarita is a delightfully joyful and playful take on the classic tequila cocktail, remarkably suited for the scorching hot summer days ahead.
